My experience with this company was disappointing right from the ordering process to the quality of the product received. I specifically purchased from a CDN company to avoid any dealings with or funds in US.
I recently ordered the SLK Halo Control paddle in the Black Friday sales on Nov 27. The Pickleball Superstore website also offered me an additional discount code, which I used. The additional code was input and accepted by their website which calculated an adjusted final cost for the paddle.
The next day a staff member reached out to say I couldn't use the additional code offered, even though their website acknowledged/accepted it and adjusted my price. I was asked to pay an additional cost. If additional codes are not allowed, the website should be fixed to block the ability to enter them, otherwise the final adjusted price shown on the online invoice should be honoured.
The SLK paddle was received last week and used twice. The paddle already has a crack in the edge guard. I requested that Pickleball Superstore exchange the defective paddle since it was only 1 week old, and they said it was no longer eligible for return/exchange because it had been used.
They advised if I want the paddle exchanged, I need to go through the Selkirk Warranty process. The Selkirk Warranty process charges CDN customers $50 US!!!
It seems unreasonable to expect a customer to go through the warranty process, and pay $50 US, on a brand new paddle.
The poor customer service provided during my purchase process has left me extremely disappointed.
I will not purchase from this company again, as they did not stand behind the product they sold or honour the price their website calculated.

Regarding your experience at our store, we would like to clarify that we have a clear notice on our home page let customer know the extra discount is not eligible for the Final Sale (or Clearance) items. Also, after you put the item in your cart and going to check out, there is also notice under the product. In terms of that you have been awared this product can not combine any extra discount, you still use a discount code to get an extra discount, we can not accept your behaviour. We provided the option of cancelling your order and issuing the full refund to you if you are not willing to pay for the discount amount, however you chose to pay for the difference, our understanding is you accepted our Final Sale condition. We hope every customer could respect our store's Final Sale policy.
Regarding the warranty policy, different brand has different warranty policy, Selkirk's warranty procedure is that the customer needs to file the warranty claim on https://www.selkirk.com/pages/warranty, Selkirk will assess the warranty claim on their end. Also, any paddle that has been used will be subject to factory warranty procedures if there are any issues, this is an industry-wide standard, the item can not be returned and exchange as an unused item.

I’m in my late 60s and have only been playing for a year. I decided that since I enjoy the sport so much and am gradually improving, that a new paddle might be a good idea. I absolutely love the Halo paddle. I feel like I have more control. There’s still tons of room for me to improve but my bright pink halo paddle is perfect.
Just used my paddle today for the first time and I can say I really like it.
The feel is just great 👍
