The V710 MAX Pickleball Paddle by Vulcan uses truly innovative construction to provide spectacular power and touch. From face to core, every part of this paddle has been engineered so that it offers exceptional performance. Starting with the surface, Vulcan has developed an all-new and proprietary 7-layer V-Skin System for dynamic response unlike anything else. What this translates into is durability, responsiveness and impressively precise play.
Next, the neck of the paddle is reinforced with Vulcan's Dura-Flex material, virtually eliminating breakage at the most flexible point of a pickleball paddle. Beneath the surface, Vulcan has incorporated "V-Strut bands," unique to the V700 series and made from TeXtreme carbon fiber, which run from the top corners of the paddle down to the throat and reinforce the overall structure so that off-center hits are less jarring and the sweet spot extends to nearly every square inch of the face.
Finally, all of this is mated to the 13mm-thick (0.51") polypropylene honeycomb core via a process called "thermal diffusion welding." This method of adhering the layers of the paddle together eliminates superfluous adhesives, and allows Vulcan to completely control the weight distribution and balace of the paddle.
The V710 MAX Paddle by Vulcan Pickleball weighs 8.0 - 8.4 oz, although it feels lighter thanks to its balanced construction. The handle length is 5" with a medium circumference of 4 1/4". This is a standout offering that is sure to deliver improvements to your game.
